Today and yesterday have really made me want to write a song.
Medley of Emotions
•January 29, 2010 • Leave a CommentI’ll probably bawl myself to sleep. If I don’t slit someone’s throat first.
Senior Project
•October 12, 2009 • Leave a CommentSo today I was working on my senior project. I’m building a website and I’ve been using www.webs.com temporarily until I get an actual host for the website, and I wanted to implement some ideas that I had been reading about in a book that my teacher let me borrow:

But I’m kind of depressed, because I found out that with www.webs.com you can’t create .asp web pages, and you can’t create them on bluehost.com which is the hosting site that I was planning in switching to. These asp scripts aren’t necessary, but would make the website that I’m trying to make pretty cool.
If you know of any free websites that allow you to create .asp web pages let me know, I need to know one!
Busy Busy Busy
•September 25, 2009 • Leave a CommentSo I haven’t really had the time to blog lately, and I really don’t have the time now either so this will be a short update, but so far school (for the most part) is going well. My only struggle is my AP Statistics class, which hopefully I’ll understand soon. I’m pretty stressed out about college applications too, I have an appointment with Wake Forest next Tuesday for an interview, I’m really excited. Lots of HOSA events are coming up soon, I’ll post photos!
First HOSA Members Meeting:
Me and Megan!
All of the 2009-2010 HOSA officers!
Loving HOSA members!
School Again
•September 6, 2009 • Leave a CommentSo now I’m in school again and this year has been so hectic. So far we’ve had one HOSA meeting, planned another, had 100 members join (and that’s a lot of paperwork per member), lots of AP stats homework and classwork, learning lots of coding in AP Computer Science, etc etc.
I’m so tired of trying to get organized and stuff but I am getting organized pretty quickly. I don’t have much to say because I don’t feel like blogging. Later.
I bought a D60
•August 13, 2009 • Leave a Comment
I finally broke down and bought a new camera. I’ve been out dated for quite some time now and decided to buy a Nikon D60. I’m really pleased with it, but the only thing is I think it should have video capability like the D90. I was either going to buy a DSLR camera, or I was going to buy a HD video camera. I figured that I would be able to make money off of the DSLR before I would the HD video camera. Hopefully I will!
Shannon News
Now Shannon and I can do our photoshoot! Some of the photos from the photoshoot we can use for our ID tags that we’re making. We’re also working on a few projects at the moment. One of them being a contest that we’re entering, another is we’re working on a skit that happened to us and we’re reenacting it.

Two Weeks Left
•July 30, 2009 • Leave a CommentIt is hard to believe that I only have two more weeks here in Mount Airy. Like my friend told me at the beginning of the summer goodbye is always bitter-sweet. I love everyone that I met here this year, we’re all like a big family. But I still want to go home and spend time with my family and my friends at home that I haven’t been able to see in weeks. I hope that next year I can come back more than anything. The pay isn’t great, but the experience is definitely worth it.
Also, I think it’s awesome how my friends are watching Shannon and my music videos. It’s pretty cool because I don’t really advertise them, I just have the video on my myspace page and she has the video on hers. Hopefully when I get back we can finish the green screen and use it for some music videos..
Short & Sweet
•July 22, 2009 • Leave a CommentI’ve been in Mt. Airy for 6.5 weeks now? It really doesn’t seem like I’ve been here that long, but at the same time I’m ready for it to be over. I have a ton of things that I need to do. I still need to start applying for other jobs, I have a summer reading book that isn’t going to read itself. I have to get a mentor for my senior project. I’m co-president of my school’s HOSA chapter. ETC!
I’m nervous about the year ahead, but at the same time I have a feeling that it will be a good one.
